Updating NVIDIA drivers on Windows

1. Login to your VPS via RDP and open up your web browser.

2. Check your current driver version

Start by opening the NVIDIA Desktop Manager by Double-Clicking on the Icon [2] on the TaskBar as instructed on the screenshot.

Then, Check the driver version following the screenshot.

Keep note of the driver version to match with what you find on the NVIDIA Drivers Site

3. Find the right drivers

On your browser, open the official Nvidia Website and go to the Drivers Download Page. Then, type the name of your card correctly in field 1 and select it. Next, select the correct OS and the Language in Dropdown 2 and 3 respectively, then click Find [4]. The official link to the page is: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/

On the page that opens, check and validate the driver version [1] and compare if the number is higher than the one installed on your machine and click View [2] and then click on Download [2] on the page that opens after clicking on View [2].

4. Installing the Driver

Start by opening the downloaded executable and leave the inputs as default and follow the on-screen instructions, then click on the OK button.

Then read the License agreement, and if you agree to it's contents click AGREE AND CONTINUE

Next, select the Express option, and click NEXT

Wait for it to finish installing, and click CLOSE

Just like that, you have successfully updated the GPU drivers on your windows VPS.
