Bandwidth overages

An explanation of what bandwidth overages are, and how to deal with them

What are bandwidth overages?

Bandwidth overages occur when you go over your allocated monthly data transfer included within your plan. Any data transfer beyond that limit results in additional charges. Overages are calculated based on the total combined inbound and outbound traffic of your server.

Will I get charged if I go over my allocation?

Yes, overage charges will apply. The current rate for bandwidth overages at Crunchbits is $1/TB. Overage charges are automatically applied based on your server's actual usage, so it's important to monitor your bandwidth consumption regularly to avoid unexpected costs.

I've gone over my allocation, what should I do?
