A guide on how you can reset the root password on your server from our panel.
Limitations
This guide only works for servers where our pre-made templates were used during the installation and none of the cloud-init files were tampered with after the installation. For any self-installs, you need to have installed qemu-guest-agent beforehand for this guide to work.
On Debian-Based OS, you may install it by running the following command as root if you still have access to your server:
$ apt install qemu-guest-agent
1. Resetting the password
Start by logging into our VPS Control Panel and clicking on the Manage button for the server that you would like to open the VNC Console for.
2. Enable the VNC Console
Go to the Options [1] tab, and click on Password [2] then Reset Password [3]
Select the User from the dropdown [1] and click Reset [2]
Now, You will get an email on your registered email address containing your password.
You can use the new password to login to your server now.
