What does protecting a VPS do?
Enabling protection disables the button that lets you reinstall a VPS.
How to protect a server?
Start by logging in to our virtualization panel, then clicking Manage next to the VPS that you'd like to protect.
Then you'll be presented with a management screen, on which at the top-left, you'll see a padlock icon. Please click on that icon.
Afterward, you'll get a pop up, on which you should click the Protect button to confirm that you'd like that server to be protected.
Then, once a server is protected, the padlock icon will turn into a golden color, and the Rebuild button will be grayed out.
How to unprotect a VPS?
Start by logging in to our virtualization panel, then clicking Manage next to the VPS that you'd like to protect.
Then you'll be presented with a management screen, on which at the top-left, you'll see a golden padlock icon. Please click on that icon.
Then, confirm that you'd like to unprotect a VPS on the popup by clicking on the Disable button.
Afterward, the padlock icon should turn back to being white, and the Reinstall button should be once again active.
